The Snugpak Bergen is a lightweight alternative to the general issue Bergen utilising a much lighter material which is nevertheless still very tough. The whole pack weighs just under 2.5 kgs.
Like the issue Bergen the side pockets zip off and are compatible with the issued PLCE yoke (or a separately available Snugpak yoke) to make a handy 30 litre daysack.
Other features include contoured, heavily padded shoulder straps for comfort and back protection, faced with high-wicking fabrics.
There are zipped compartments on the top and bottom. The bottom compartment houses 2 roll-away waterproof covers. In the olive version the covers are in British DPM and British Desert. In the black version the covers are in British DPM and Black. A good piece of kit.
