The larger round makes it ideal for close quarters vermin control hence its nickname. The 2240 now has an improved bolt design for easier cocking and loading, while the rifled steel barrel provides greater accuracy.  An ergonomically designed ambidextrous grip fits the hand for perfect balance and comfort with chequering and a thumb rest on both grip panels.
